Very creative title, I know.
I woke up this morning to that familiar chill that makes you want to hid in bed all day. My skin is already starting to feel the dryness in the air, and I actually had to put on a jacket to go to the bank today. It all happened just that quickly. Yesterday it was a mild and tolerable 23C and today the temperature dropped to a crisp 10C with a lovely cold wind coming in from the North.
I’m not sure if I’ll ever get used to how quickly the seasons manage to change in this country. But I do enjoy having all four seasons, however. I feel like it keeps you on your toes. Even if you feel like you’ve fallen into too much of a routine, the weather sweeps in and changes your wardrobe for a few months to keep things interesting. Aaaand gives us girls a great excuse to invest in some retail therapy.
On the down side, the constant chill does kind of diminish motivation to work out a little bit. Even if your gym is only half a block down the road and happens to have a certain life guard that may or may not resemble Adonis (Because eye candy is always helpful). But even in the most extreme instances it’s nothing a good pair of sweatpants, some leg warmers and your boyfriends’ hoodie can’t fix.
